I just couldn't resist posting this picture of Neely from earlier this morning.  This was her outfit of choice and who was I to argue! Excuse the fact that she no longer has her pajama pants on, we are in the full blown stage of potty training!

Friday yet?!?!

So am I the only one that is feeling like this week is just dragging by? It feels like the past few days have last for months! Luckily tomorrow will really be Friday and I can't wait.  I am going home this weekend and I'm so excited b/c Callie and Jeremy got the furniture in River's room and I'm very ready to see it! Also my mom picked up Callie's stroller and carseat (you know the one we went to pick up on Saturday and forgot, yeah that one!) today and I can't wait to see them also.  Happy Thursday!

Not Me Monday!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

My sister and I definitely did not drive all the way to Charlotte (hour away) in order to pick up her carseat that came in and then forget to pull to the back of the building to get it! No not us!

We also didn't just go to the store to pick this up and come out with another stroller! We wouldn't do that just because it was half off and one of our favorites because we have already ordered a stroller, Not US! (We actually did get it at a great price! It was a Quinny Buzz 3 and we got it for a little over half the original price! And since my Mom is going to be keeping River she will need one too, right? Just trying to justify this a little!)

Lastly, I most certainly did not meet Callie and Jeremy after her 3D ultrasound so I could see the pictures when I could have waited for just 1 more day, nope Not Me!

So Cute!

Callie had a 3D ultrasound yesterday and being the impatient person that I am, I met them for dinner last night so I could see the pictures.  Callie said that it was pretty cool but it was also just a little weird.  She sent me all of the images this morning and I must say that some of them are a little weird.  You can already tell that River has some chubby cheeks! Callie and Jeremy both said that he was sucking on his fingers the whole time so I guess they better have a paci ready for him when he gets here!  Am I the only one that there is nothing cuter than a baby with a paci, especially a soothie?  Here are just a few of the pictures!

I've been reading reading Wish List Wednesday for a while now so this week I decided to do one of my own! Here goes:

I've decided that it's time to give up my little car and get a bigger vehicle, probably an SUV.  I would ultimately love to have one of these:

But I guess one of these would also work ;)

I have also have been looking into getting a zoom lens for my camera. I'm not sure which one is the best but this one seems pretty good.  Anyone have any recommendations, I have a Nikon D3000.

Playing around....

For the past few weeks now it has been very cold here to say the least.  The girls enjoy playing outside but since it has been so cold we haven't been able to.  A couple of days this past week were unseasonably warm, so we took the opportunity to play outside and I took the opportunity to play around with my camera a little more! I'm so ready for spring so we will be able to play outside even more, so expect many more pictures as it gets warmer!

So Exicted!

I have been so excited about this and have been meaning to write a post about it but I've been a little busy trying to plan and baby shower! That will have to be a whole different post as it is also something I am very excited about! All of this is soooo fun!

If you know me at all you know that I am absolutely in love with all things baby, especially strollers!  I have been known to just browse around online just looking a baby stuff for hours and this was before Callie got pregnant.  I know I am a weirdo but I just love it! 

When I found out Callie was expecting I made up my mind and told her that I wanted to be the one to get the stroller for her.  We looked all over and did some research and we finally decided on the UPPAbaby Vista.  I have been looking at different places but Callie had a coupon for 15% off at USA Baby and this brand was not excluded as it usually is with all other coupons! We headed over to Charlotte on Saturday and ordered the stroller.  We were kind of bummed because we didn't get to bring it home and play with it but it should be in soon.  We also got a GREAT deal on it so I was happy about that too! 

Since we had such a good coupon we also ended up ordering the carseat too!  She chose the Peg Perego Primo Viaggiao in a very pretty green color.  I'm so excited and can't wait to finally meet the little guy!  Here are some pictures of the stroller and carseat!

River's Room

I decided that I would give you a little update on River's nursery. Callie decided on a color and while we were in Charleston last week the painting was done. The color she picked looks great and she can't wait to get everything in there to see how it is all going to look together. The carpet is being put down sometime soon so after that is finished they will be able to move the furniture in there so she can get a better feel of what else she needs to complete it.

Also in baby news the planning of the baby shower' has begun. This is the most exciting part I think! Needless to say I think that February is going to be a very busy month.

All in all I think Callie is feeling pretty good. She did mentioned that sleeping is becoming a little more difficult and a few other minor things but other than that she is doing good. She is feeling River more and more now and I can't wait until I can actually feel him kick. She 27 weeks now so he will be here before we know it!

I got my new FlipVideo out on Monday while the girls and I were playing around in the playroom and they were very eager for me to try it out! Ava is a little supermodel and loves the camera! Neely gets a little shy sometimes but she eventually lets loose.  Enjoy this video of them singing to Hannah Montana!

This and That...

Sorry its been a while but I'm just trying to get back in the routine of working again after a nice long break!

We had a great time in Charleston last week.  It was nice to not have anything to do for a while and just to be able to relax for a little while.  Who am I kidding, we didn't really relax at all.  See its kind of hard for Callie and I to sit still and not have anything to do! We can do it for maybe half a day and then we have to find something to do and that we did!  We shopped, ate, went to movies, ate some more, get where I'm going with this... We went to see It's Complicated and Sherlock Holmes and they are both great! My favorite was Sherlock Holmes though. 

We got back on Saturday and I left to come back to Greenville on Sunday morning so I could unpack and get situated before having to go back to work on Monday. I was sad to see the end of the holidays but I also ready to see the girls and hear all about their Christmas break! 

This post is a little scattered but I just had a few random things to share.  I got a DSLR for Christmas from Santa! I absolutely love it.  I had been playing around with Christy's for the past few months and finally decided that I needed to get on for myself.  I am just experimenting and playing around until I figure out how to use it!  I am also reading some stuff that might help me figure it out even better.  I also got Photoshop Elements for Christmas (Thanks Callie!) and I have been playing around with it too. Also the Thompson's got me a Flip video camera for Christmas and I am loving it so far!  I took a video of the girls with it yesterday and as soon as I upload onto my computer I will post it.   Here are a few pictures that I took of the girls yesterday and then edited with Photoshop! 

Oh and since I never got a chance to put this up last week, here is Callie's 26 week belly pic!
