Uh Oh! We are in trouble...

This folks is the most busy 3 month old that I have ever seen!  If this is just a preview of what is to come then we are in big trouble! He is constantly moving, standing, chewing, talking and barely napping.  He sleeps great at night but during the day he is just too busy! Basically the only time he stops is when you hold him and make him take a nap, and he still doesn't like it too well then. However, he is just the most precious thing in the world so we don't mind if he is busy all the time!

 

He personality is also starting to show a little.  He already knows what he wants and how to get it!  If he sees something that he wants ( i.e. toy, phone, Jackson(dog) ) and he cannot reach it, he will make noise and move his arms and legs to let us know that he wants it.  He absolutely loves Jackson! I can just see when he is mobile that he will be following him everywhere and Jackson seems to like him as well, hopefully it will stay that way.  Yesterday, he was sitting with me and Jackson was sitting beside us and River reached over and grabbed onto Jackson and wouldnt let go and started laughing b/c he thought it was funny!  It was too precious.

I am so happy to say that class is over for the summer and I couldn't be any more pleased!  Now I actually have time to do some things that I want to do, like blog, since I have really been neglecting it lately! 

Everything with the house is going great.  The floors are finished and they look amazing.  Only a few more weeks before I am able to move in!!!!!

House Update

Things are moving along pretty well with my house. Every room except for the bathroom is painted.  Now the floors are being refinished and a few more minor things then I can move in! So exciting! Here are some in between pics.

Voice

That's right...he has officially found his voice!

Zoo Trip!

Last week I was able to get away and have a little play date with the Ava and Neely.  This was the first time that I have been able to actually spend some time with them since I started work and school and it was very much overdue!

We decided to go to the zoo because it was very nice out that day by nice I mean 85 degrees compared the the high 90s that we have been having lately.  I really love the Greenville Zoo!  It is big enough to have some cool stuff but also small enough to make it through in about an hour and before anybody gets too tired ;) 

This is how Ava really felt about the elephants!

We ate lunch at the zoo and then played on the awesome playground that is just outside of the zoo. 

After all that playing we decided that we needed to sit and rest and have some yummy fro-yo.

 And of course no trip to downtown Greenville would be complete without a walk in Falls Park over the Bridge!

These pictures were taken almost exactly 2 years ago and look at how much they have grown!

3 Months

River did not want anything to do with smiling for the camera yesterday so here are the best pictures I got.  They still turned out pretty cute!

What River is Up to This Month:

- Now weighs approximately 15 lbs.

-Taking 6 oz. bottles and just started on rice cereal!

-Smiles and coos all the time still but is trying really hard to laugh.

- Has an obsession with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and his Sophie giraffe.

- Pulling everything to his mouth and "chewing" on it.  May be in the beginning stages of teething? 

-Kicking and moving constantly.

-Loves to stand and also tried his Exersaucer for the first time yesterday and did extremely well!

-Sleeping from about 9pm-6am.
