Christmas

Well since it is almost 2011, I figured I better go ahead and post Christmas pictures!  I decided to do a slideshow because of course we took tons and tons of pictures!

This Christmas was one of the best ever!  Just experiencing River's first Christmas with him was one of the greatest joys ever.  He loved every second of it and seeing the look on his face on Christmas morning was priceless.  I'm sure Christmas in the years to come will be even better!

And just in case you were wondering, River plays with every single one of his new toys! I have never before seen a baby that loves to play as much as he does!

Polar Express

Checking out the Polar Express that Daddy got him for an early Christmas present...notice the tight grip he has around his mommy's neck, he wasn't too sure about it at first!

Now warming up to and actually liking it!

But I'm not to sure who he is giving the side-eye in this picture!

8...8.5 months!

This picture completely sums up River and his personality! He is always so happy and smiles all the time and it still melts my heart every single time!

I realize this is more than a little late but between the holidays and a double ear infection for River :( , it took a little while to get a decent picture!

As you can see, River is feeling a lot better because this is how he spent the majority of the photo shoot!

What River is up to this month:

- Weighs 21.5 lbs

- Still has 3 teeth but 2 on top should be peeking through any day now.

- Officially crawling all over the place!

- Laughing at everything and it is the most precious laugh EVER!

- Loving his walker still and basically running everywhere in it

- He can't get enough of playing with his toys...he absolutely loves them!

The Official Santa Picture!

Finally here is Santa, Take 2 that I promised last week!  You would think that since I am on a break with school that I would have more time to blog but apparently I have been keeping myself pretty busy! 

Looking at the Christmas trees and pretty presents was a very good way to pass the time while waiting to see the Jolly Ole' Man!

So was standing up in the stroller and checking everyone out...

Finally! It's almost my turn...

Hey guys, you can go ahead and shop without me, I think I will just hang out with Santa for a while!

And just because I couldn't resist...I think this is the most hilarious picture ever!

I'm pretty sure River was quite smitten by Mrs. Clause...just look at that smile!

Although it looks like he isn't too happy...he is just trying to open the candy cane that Mrs. Clause gave him!

This was just a little test run...I will post the official Santa pictures later on this week! He loved him and I'm so glad he didn't take after me b/c every picture we have of me with Santa I am crying!
