Finally here is an update on River's 2 month doctors appointment. 

Stats: Weight: 13.14 lbs

          Length: 24.5 in

He also got his shots.  Callie said he did pretty well and calmed down pretty quickly. But here are some pictures showing how River really felt about the shots!

Neely's Miracle

I have been meaning to blog about this for a while now but I am just now getting around to it. It is something that is very close to my heart and I wanted to share it with everyone.  Neely is the 3 year old little girl that I used to nanny for and last year when she was 2 years old she became very ill and was hospitalized for 18 days.  Here is the link to her website so you can read the complete story there Neely's Miracle.  Please go there to learn about her miracle! We have taken a couple of videos of River in the past week of some new things he is doing. This is one of him sitting on the couch smiling and playing with Mom and Dad. It's really cute but a little long!

Wordless Wednesday

2 Months

River is 2 months old today!  It honestly doesn't seem like he was born just 2 months ago!  I couldn't decide which picture to post because there were several cute ones so I decided to post a few!

What River is Up to This Month:

- Now weighs approximately 13 lbs and about 24 inches long. (Know more after his doctor appointment)

-Taking 6 oz. bottles about every 3-4 hours. 

-Smiles and coos all the time!

- Love, love, loves his mobile.

-Kicking and moving constantly.

-Sleeping a little longer at night.

2nd Month in Pictures

Sombreros and Sitting

As you could tell from one of the photos from yesterday, River is now practicing sitting in his BeBe Pod!  He isn't able to sit for very long periods of time but we its getting longer and longer every time he does.  I think he actually likes having something to do besides lay on his back or being held.  He still isn't liking tummy time too much but he is working on that as well.  It feels like I am always saying this but he is growing so much. I just can't believe how much he has changed in the last 2 months.  He is such a little man now!

On a different note, I really enjoy taking photos of the little guy...like you couldn't already tell!  Jeremy's mom (Mimi) went on a cruise to Mexico recently and brought River back a sombrero and it is precious.  I tried to take a few pictures of him with it on the other day while he was sitting up.  They actually turned out pretty cute!

I love his eyes in this one!
