Vacation Pics!

We headed to Folly Beach last month so I figured it was about time to show you all the pictures from our wonderful vacay! We had so much fun and I hope it becomes something that we do every year!

Birthday Take 2: The Details...

Since I already posted all of the precious and special birthday pictures, I figured I would do a post on all of the little details of the party!  It was a lot of fun planning the party and then watching it all come together.  This party also taught me how to do a lot of stuff that I had wanted to learn how to do like....

And design things like these favor labels using my Silhouette software and machine!

I also found some ideas I wanted to try like this cute 1 canvas that I just had to make. You can find a detailed tutorial on how to make one here!






I so wish I could take credit for coming up with this precious cake but I can't, however, I can take credit for replicating it! I found the idea on this lovely blog!



And it wouldn't be a birthday party without a candy bar! This was probably one of my favorite things since I am a candy fanatic!

All in all it was a great birthday party and I think everyone involved had a blast!

Birthday Party Take 1!

River's 1st Birthday party has a huge success!  After a rocky start and having to change the day at the last minute due to threat of bad weather, in the end everything worked out perfectly!  A good time was had by all, children and adults!

River acted liked he had been riding ponies since he was born! He got on and knew exactly what to do and he loved it as you can see!

The petting zoo was a big hit among all of the kids and River seemed to like it as well! He wasn't too sure about the goat licking his hand though!

And what is a farm birthday party without a tractor and this one happened to be just River's size! Oh and that middle picture, ::I DIE:: from the cuteness!

River still wasn't too sure about his cake but he did love the singing and being the center of attention...such a ham!

He was also a pro at opening presents by himself and it was too cute how he would throw himself down on the present and the just lay there at look at it!

What more could a little boy ever want!  Well River thinks you should leave the cake out because he was not too sure about it!

Also he decided that he would shock us all and officially start walking on his birthday! He had been taking a few steps here and there but he started walking longer distances that night! I will try to get it on video sometime soon so you all can see him in all his cuteness!
