Can you tell that he was enjoying himself very much!

I have seen this Step 2 Up & Down Roller Coaster a few places but have always just kind of dismissed them thinking that they were a little dangerous and not for toddlers. But after seeing how much all of the kids, including River, enjoyed this one at Gavin's birthday party, I now have a different view of them.  They are actually pretty safe as long as you don't put them on a steep incline, which most responsible people wouldn't do.  Also the kids can basically do everything by themselves which is pretty cool to them. I think that River might be getting one in the near future or at least be going to play with Gavin's every once in a while! I mean just look at the complete excitement on his face, how can he not have one!

Vacation Pics!

We headed to Folly Beach last month so I figured it was about time to show you all the pictures from our wonderful vacay! We had so much fun and I hope it becomes something that we do every year!

Birthday Take 2: The Details...

Since I already posted all of the precious and special birthday pictures, I figured I would do a post on all of the little details of the party!  It was a lot of fun planning the party and then watching it all come together.  This party also taught me how to do a lot of stuff that I had wanted to learn how to do like....

I so wish I could take credit for coming up with this precious cake but I can't, however, I can take credit for replicating it! I found the idea on this lovely blog!



And it wouldn't be a birthday party without a candy bar! This was probably one of my favorite things since I am a candy fanatic!

All in all it was a great birthday party and I think everyone involved had a blast!
