Outside

I think it's pretty safe to say that River loves being outside! We have taken full advantage of the awesome weather we have had the last few weeks!

 

And can someone please tell me how River turned from baby to toddler overnight? I mean he seriously isn't a baby anymore and he has the attitude to prove it!

P.S. I promise that one of these days, I am going to get around to actually writing a post instead of just pictures and a few sentences!  I have been working on some projects lately and finished my first ever sewing project last week so I am going to blog about that soon!

Happy Birthday Mommy!

River just wanted to say Happy Birthday to the most wonderful mommy in the world!

10 Months

Seriously can you believe that in just 2 short months this little man will be 1?!?!? I truly can't!

What River is up to this month?

Weight: 22lbs

Height: 29.5 inches

Head: 19 inches

(These are stats from his 9 month appoinment but was delayed until 10 months b/c River was sick before)

- Still has 5 teeth. He smiles a lot so we get to see them often!

- Practicing walking by holding on to and pushing his zebra around the house, getting better at it every day!

- Starting to eat more solids, loves pumpkin muffins, cheerios, jammy sammies, sugar cookies, sweet potato fries but does not like anything slimy like bananas etc.

- Still takes a bottle 4 times a day but it is a struggle almost every time. Needless to say, I don't think it will be hard to get rid of the bottle!

- Wearing size 12-18 month clothes.

- New interest in "reading" books and by reading I mean turning the pages while we try to read to him!

- Really babbling and sometimes very loudly! We have a feeling once he starts talking he isn't going to stop and there will be no telling what he is going to say!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

River wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!

Into Everything...

Yes River is into everything right now...I mean literally into everything as evidenced by these cute pictures!

He managed to get into this toy basket all by himself in a matter of like .02 seconds!

This basket of puzzles was apparently in his way so he decided to just climb into it and play. Oh and that face...he found that it wasn't that comfortable to sit in and was mad that he couldn't get out!

P.S. I haven't forgotten that I have a blog and promise to update more often with pictures and updates on the little man!

UPDATE: More evidence...when Callie brought this shelf in from the car, River immediately had to check it out and decided it was a good obstacle course!

9 months!

Seriously cannot believe that this little boy is already 9 months old!

What River is up to this month:

- Weighs approx. 22 lbs.

- Has 5 teeth now. It's so funny bc he got his outer top teeth before the front ones!

- Pulling up on everything and also practicing how to sit down from standing. Starting to get more brave and only hold on with one hand!

- Eating solids 3 times a day and loves his puffs.

- Mastered the art of drinking out of a sippy cup!

- Still loving his toys and is very good at entertaining himself.

- One of the happiest and most pleasant babies ever!

- Babbling and starting to try to say Mama and DaDa but mostly for daddy its PopPop b/c that is what Jeremy taught him to say!
