Birthday Party

Today we took River to Gavin's 1st Birthday party and also the first party that River has ever been to.  It was a pool party so we thought that it would be the perfect time for River to give the pool a try.  Let me preface by saying that he did not get his nap out before we went to the party so he was a little tired.  He liked the pool ok but he was a little overwhelmed by all of the people that were at the party.  He had a little meltdown after he got out of the pool but all was fine once he was asleep in Mommy's arms. 

The party was great and Gavin was soooo cute.  I know it is a long way away but I am already starting to think of some ideas for River's 1st birthday party. Yeah, I am crazy like that!  Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

My House

Well I am finally getting around to posting about my house again!  I closed on it last Wednesday and things have been moving forward pretty quickly since then. Luckily, I have the most wonderful brother-in-law in the world or I would be lost right now.  I have a lot of work to do before I move in but it will definitely be worth it.  Here are some before pictures!

Shots

Finally here is an update on River's 2 month doctors appointment. 

Stats: Weight: 13.14 lbs

          Length: 24.5 in

He also got his shots.  Callie said he did pretty well and calmed down pretty quickly. But here are some pictures showing how River really felt about the shots!

Neely's Miracle

I have been meaning to blog about this for a while now but I am just now getting around to it. We have taken a couple of videos of River in the past week of some new things he is doing. This is one of him sitting on the couch smiling and playing with Mom and Dad. It's really cute but a little long!
